Kirkby Stephen School Fundraising Handover

The Student Council at Kirby Stephen school handing over their cheque for £415.15 raised after they chose White Ribbon Campaign as their charity of the year following a presentation from Chris Green in autumn 07.

Merchandise Development
White Ribbon Umbrellas (Always useful for outdoor events) and our first t-shirts and mugs have all been added to the range.
The T-shirts or Running Tops can be personalised for your area of the campaign

A draft design for an Ice Hockey White Ribbon player was done which will lead to development in another sport.

Middlesborough Football Club
Middlesborough Safer Communities have been in touch with Middlesborough Football Club to get them more involved in the campaign.

Facebook Quizzes
We looked to develop quizzes of Facebook to try and make the Facebook site more attractive.

Other
We contributed to the national Consultation on Draft Minimum Standards for Shelters which in turn has been referenced by the Council of Europe Task Force on Violence against Women in the Final report.
