Meeting with Teresa May
Two staff from WRC UK went to the House of Commons at the invitation of Teresa May the Shadow Minister for Women to brief her about our work.
Halifax Courier Article
There was a double page spread about our work in the local paper, the Halifax Courier.

It was another good boost for the campaign and led to other media interest.
Feminist Coalition against Prostitution
We were invited to become members of the Feminist Coalition Against Prostitution
We are committed to engaging more in support of the campaign.
Hebden Royd Town Council
An approach was made to HebdenRoyd Town Council who invited us to come and speak. At it’s March meeting the Council joined the campaign and declared itself a white ribbon town
Other
We held a meeting with officers from Bradford Council to investigate ways of co-operating.
TRUST Tender’s work
We attended a performance of TRUST at the Harris Academy in Bermondsey. A group of young women who had been working for several sessions on issues of domestic abuse performed a number of short dramatic sketches which led on to an open discussion . They were really articulate in dealing with the audience’s questions. We provided them with a bag of ribbons and posters after the show.

Chris Green attended the 6th meeting of the Council of Europe Task Force against Violence against Women
We had a briefing meeting with Baroness Gale at the House of Lords. She is very active in the area of campaigning about violence against women.
